Your new company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join an established team based in Derbyshire. The organisation specialise in providing tax, accounts and business support and advice to organisations and individuals across Derby/ They work with clients in multiple sectors such as catering, manufacturing and construction. Due to a huge amount of growth they are now looking for someone to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In your role you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts, along with corporate, personal and partnership tax. You will take an active involvement in liaising with clients and dealing with HMRC. reporting to a Senior Accountant you may also have responsibility for the work completed by more junior accountants in the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified however QBE with strong experience in practice will be considered. A minimum of 4 years in practice will be required alongside effective excel skills and knowledge of Sage and / or Iris. You may also be required to travel to clients so a full UK drivers licence is essential.
