Finance Manager required for Oil and Gas Service company based west of Aberdeen

Hays Senior Finance is working on an exclusive basis with a privately owned manufacturing company in the oil and gas supply chain. Based to the west of the city, this is an organisation that has experienced significant growth in the last 3 years, growing to £16mill t/o.

Your new role
Reporting to the company Directors and Board, you will manage a small finance team (3) and be responsible for the training and development of these individuals. As the Finance Manager, you will provide financial analysis and advice to the Board to include P&L, balance sheet and sales analysis. You will work closely with the sales department to provide stronger links between sales process (pricing and tenders), and the finance team. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the month-end process along with preparing board packs and ensuring compliance to statutory reporting requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA or CIMA) with a track record leading a small finance team. You will have experience preparing monthly management accounts in addition to year-end accounting and providing financial analysis. You will have strong business partnering skills and experience developing a team. Experience with Sage Line 50 would be highly advantageous.
