Accountant job paying circa £37k in a world-leading software development business in Manchester.

Your new role
As Accountant, you will head up the completion of the month-end postings, reconciliations and balance management accounts, reporting all with commentary to management. A detailed and thorough attitude will be required to ensure 'clean' balance sheets and minimisation of queries. You will also support and business partner with various business areas, challenging decisions, and improving existing/implementing new processes, with exposure to statutory accounts and internal corporate functions to help you build out your skills.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a newly qualified accountant with relevant previous experience in large finance team. A keen attitude will be required when reporting to management and a readiness to assist and advise others in the team. You will have intermediate excel skills (or better) that can will aid you in the completion of efficient work, and a mindset geared towards process improvement.
