Our client are a listed and growing retailer based in the Liverpool area. Due to the growth, they are looking for an internal auditor to join the team. A role that is now critical role to the business. You will be working for a listed retailer based in the Liverpool area. Tasks will involve identification and prioritising of tasks which arise at short notice like requests from the CFO or audit committee. You will work closely with the department heads to gain information. You will be required to report findings and present to the board. You will perform audit work across all divisions and write reports for department heads. Some travel is required to various sites across the organisation to perform audits.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant, although if you can demonstrate relevant experience, QBE will be accepted for this position. It is critical that you can manage stakeholders throughout the business. You will get regular exposure from top to bottom, including but not just the CFO to warehouse operatives.

What you'll get in return
You will get a salary of up to £55,000 p.a., although this may stretch for the right candidate. You will also get to work for a household name company in a critical role. As the company grows, so will the audit department and there should be a lot of opportunity to have an impact in the coming years.
