Your new company
Our client is an ambitious, vibrant Academy Trust based in Greater Manchester. They have been through considerable change in the last 12 months and due to a strong financial result are now in a position to grow the finance team. The trust consists of both primary and secondary schools and are looking in the near future to grow to multiple schools.
Your new role
The Finance Manager will be required to support the CFO with the overall financial management of the trust. The role will work in partnership with Headteachers and stakeholders across the Trust to help shape the future of the finance function. As the Trust grows the finance department needs to adapt to the changes across the organisation. You will be required to organise and supervise administrative and reporting systems across all schools in the Trust and contribute the strategic planning, monitoring and development of school finances. You will be encouraged to share your ideas to help propel the Trusts future growth.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably qualified and have experience in performing bank reconciliations, formulating budgets, forecasting and experience of financial account systems. You will work confidently with a team and have strong communication skills helping you build lasting relationships with the Trusts Chief Executives, Headteachers, School Business Managers, Teaching Staff and pupils. This is an ideal role for a candidate who wants to work directly with a CFO who will mentor and develop the individual.
