Being a key member of the financial analysis team, you will be providing high quality insight and analysis to senior managers within our business.  You will undertake a programme of study for a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA).  

We have high expectations of you and will expected you to achieve first time passes, and to complete your exams within three years. You will be provided with a structured training and development plan.  Excellent career development opportunities are available for high performers within our business. 

Some of your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Production of management information packs to support business decision making by senior management.

    • Monthly updating of MI packs with reconciliation of data to accounts 

  • Production of the balance sheet and P&L accounts

    • Submission to group via AXA’s consolidation system

    • Support analytical review of accounts

    • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations 

  • Preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts

    • Perform variance analysis

    • Production of commentary schedules for management and group

    • Liaise with business managers to ensure accuracy and suitability of budgets 

  • Support senior management team with expert added value analysis .

Qualifications

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

  • University Graduate (2:1 or higher)

  • Desire to begin study for professional accountancy qualification (CIMA)

  • Positive attitude with the ambition to progress within the organisation

  • Team player

  • Analytical person who enjoys problem solving

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Commercial mind-set
