Whilst assisting juniors you will be supported by the Tax Manager to further develop your skills and set a career progression plan in place and be given numerous opportunities to take part in consultancy projects to further develop your skills and experience.

As a Tax Senior - US/UK Private Owned Business, you will have exposure to a broad range of clients including multinational corporations, ensuring that your development and learning is continuously supported to build your expertise, whilst ensuring that clients are ensured a high level of service.
As a Tax Senior - US/UK Private Owned Business your responsibilities will include:Report directly to the Business Tax Manager
Contribute to the development of the rest of the team
Liaise with third parties directly, including lawyers, accountants, tax advisers and financial advisers
Work alongside the Manager on consultancy and research projects
Stay up to date with changing tax legislation's and other ongoing training
Identify any risks and tax planning opportunities
Attend client meetings regularly and liaise directly with them
Have ongoing communication with the management group to ensure work completion
Develop relationships to be the main point of contact with clients
As a Tax Senior - US/UK Private Owned Business you will need to have:2+ Years Tax Practice experience
Excellent communication and confident in client meetings
US/UK Tax exposure including reviewing and preparing US/UK forms i.e. Forms 5471, 8865, 8858 and 8621 is desirable but not essential
Strong knowledge of Tax legislation
Strong understanding of personal tax and corporate tax is desirable
Well organised and works well under pressure
Excellent eye for detail
Ability to identify areas of concern and be proactively inquisitive
High problem solving skills
ATT Qualified, with desirable qualification in Practice US Tax (EA or CPA) or possibly CTA Qualified (not essential)
