Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance for a Sports company based in Northern Home Counties The Role As Head of finance you will be responsible for the management and development of a team of 5 accounting staff and will be responsible for the management of the company locally and report directly to head offices in Asia You will provide full financial reporting on a timely basis which will include preparation of financial statements, monthly reports and quarterly consolidations of the group You will have the number one position in finance with the opportunity to get involved in the strategy of the business working alongside the Directorship group You will be responsible for the management of the company pension, interacting with HMRC and play a major role in the administrative side of the business Profile This role requires the successful candidate to be have proven track record in running a company's finances as well as its management You must be fully qualified and able to work to strict deadlines and have excellent working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS The Company The organisation is an employer of choice in the local area that offers extensive opportunities for career development and enhancement with the potential to lead to a Director role in the next 3 - 5 years Salary & Benefits The salary on offer is negotiable, but has been advertised for the Head of finance role as £60,000 to £70,000 per annum plus company benefits Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
