Staffline is recruiting for Finance Clerk, to join the UK's leading distribution company and become a part of our prestigious client's team at their site based in Dordon Salary Basic £20,000 per annum - depending on experience This role is on a temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start. You will be required to work from 9AM to 5PM from Monday to Friday. The position offers great competitive pay and the opportunity for carer progression. Your time at work You would be responsible for maintaining records for all transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and processing reimbursements. If you have a background in Finance and knowledge of bookkeeping activities, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us to manage and allocate our resources effectively. The role will involve coordination with both carriers and the customer in a very difficult and in a time pressured environment to ensure accurate information is provided/ acted upon and then recorded for both invoicing & KPI purposes. Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to: Managing accounts receivable and payable Building and maintain strong working relationships around the business to ensure good communication and collaboration concerning all vendor related issues Maintaining and developing monthly finance performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement targets are met Updating KPI Inputting date into the systems accurately and within a specific time frame Following up and responding to queries from the client Handling phone calls Managing communication between departments Working closely with operational teams to resolve any collection / planning issues to optimise company's effectiveness Chasing up carries and responding to the customer in a timely manner where applicable to complete a the relevant documentation Creating and updating spreadsheets of daily transactions Managing accounts receivable and payable Reviewing and processing reimbursements Our perfect worker The ideal candidate will have the following skill base: Strong analytical skills Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Confident using Outlook The ability to multi-task Good computer skills and a good grasp of the English are mandatory Interviews will be held immediately.
