SeaRoc Group is a provider of specialist services to support the offshore renewable industry. To ensure the safe and efficient running of such projects, SeaRoc identified the need for user-friendly, integrated systems for managing project data both on land and offshore and subsequently developed the industry leading SitePlanner & SeaPlanner software platforms. SeaRoc Group continues to support the offshore renewable industry with its team of specialists, providing export consultancy services including Health Safety Environment and Quality, Asset Management and Communications. We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join the team in Chichester. This is a fixed term role for a period of up to 12 months, working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday. Day to day duties to include but not exclusive to: - Accounts payable, ensuring invoices are entered daily and coded correctly - Generating weekly payment runs - Daily bank reconciliations - Maintaining the purchase and sales ledger - Generation of RFP's & sales invoices - Various balance sheet controls - i.e. prepayments, inter-company etc. - Responsible for the timesheet system As the successful candidate, you will have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate the following: - Have a good understanding of excel - An effective communicator both written and verbal - Accurate, with great attention to detail - Have a good understanding of accruals & prepayments, reconciliations To be considered for this role you must be AAT Qualified or similar QBE. Previous knowledge of project accounting within Sage 200 would be beneficial but not essential.
