Payroll Teamleader Wigan Temporary-Permanent £25k-£30k Payroll Teamleader required to start immediately for one of our well established clients in Wigan. The Payroll Teamleader will ensure the smooth running of the payroll department and will oversee payroll processes ensuring a high level of accuracy and maintain excellent customer service. Duties and tasks: To manage a team of x 3 and oversee the payroll of over 1200 weekly and monthly paid staff Processing starters & leavers & changes Dealing with all complex queries including tax & NI Ensuring all payroll related information is kept up to date and accurate to ensure that all employees are paid correctly Administer RTI and auto-enrolment pension schemes Deduction of statutory payments including SPP, SAP and SMP Ensuring all payroll functions are processed in a timely manner including P45s, P46s and P11Ds Delivering excellent customer service The suitable candidate: Must have experience working within a Payroll team Leadership or management experience. Payroll qualification - CIPP or equivalent is desirable Experience of pensions is desirable.
