Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a period of at least six months. Ideally this individual will be available ASAP and certainly able to begin work prior to the end of August 2019. Joining a young team, this is an excellent opportunity to build practical experience within a supportive environment. Whilst it is envisaged that the contract will run for at least six months, the business continues to grow substantially. Therefore there is a genuine possibility that the role could run for much longer - or even become permanent. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the main responsibilities will be to oversee the daily banking for the company and its various sites. This will involve several bank account reconciliations and looking into any discrepancies. You will definitely be an individual who enjoys working in a busy finance department and will be happy to take on other duties at month end or particularly busy periods within the finance department. The successful applicant will need a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills as well as being able to learn new skills quickly. Applications are welcome from candidates with up to two years experience within Ledger maintenance or bank reconciliations. Recent Graduates who are able to commit to this project for at least 6 months will also be considered. The company is based in modern offices in Reigate town centre, working hours are typically Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, although there can be some flexibility on that. Fletcher George is acting as an Employment Agency and we aim to respond to all candidates relevant for the role within a 48 hour working period.
