My client is a growing organisation, they are currently seeking an experienced Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. PURPOSE OF THE JOB Involved in all aspects of the purchase ledger department for a medium size manufacturing company. Primary responsibilities involve Purchase Ledger and an element of involvement in sales ledger processing to provide cover and support to the wider team, further ad hoc finance tasks as required. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
• Raising Central PO's as required
• Process purchase invoices onto Maximo system
• Process invoices directly to Sage accounting system
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Liaise with the contract supports and managers in regards to sales and purchase ledger invoices queries
• Answer and deal with any phone calls and resolve supplier quieries
• Monitor and respond to any emails sent to the accounts/invoices inbox's
• Assist with processing monthly credit card expenses for the company
• Support Finance Department with ad hoc tasks as required
• Assist with and provide cover for Credit Control
• Assist with Client Setups On Sage
