Interim Finance Manager Rugby - £35,000 - £40,000pa Bespoke Recruitment are working with our Rugby client to help secure the services of an Interim experienced Finance Manager to help the business through a period of change. The successful candidate will work from the Rugby office with a dotted line of responsibility into the FD based at the UK HQ. The reason for the short-term nature of the opportunity is that the business is considering several options with regards to the long-term location of the Finance Manager role, it may be decided to locate the role within the clients UK HQ away from Rugby. There is also potential that it will be decided that Rugby is the best place for this position to be based, in which case the role will become available as a permanent role going forward. About the role This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager (who happens to be available) to assume the number one role in finance onsite and will be pivotal towards ensuring the day to day and month end activities run smoothly whilst the senior management team consider the longer-term options of the role. Heading up a small, experienced Finance team you will oversee activities such as: - Supervise the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts including flash reports Balance sheet reconciliations Oversee the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions, authoring weekly payment runs Cash flow forecasting Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly profit forecasting Prepare the Tax pack Ensure the EC sales list and VAT returns are submitted in a timely manner Supervise the day to day operation of the small finance team About you: Due to the need for the person to hit the ground running, the client would ideally like the successful candidate to be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) and have demonstrable experience of dealing with the broad spectrum of responsibilities that running a small, busy finance function presents. Previous experience of using Sage systems would be highly advantageous.
