Consumer Additions are working with a highly reputable FMCG business within the Consumer Industry who are looking to recruit a permanent AR clerk into their successful team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who would like to develop their experience and take the next step in accounting and progress their career to the next stage. Role Purpose Reporting to the Credit Control & AR Manager, this role entails a variety of duties with focus on Supporting the AR team, but also including other departmental support where required Ensuring the timely and accurate allocation of incoming customer payments. Key Accountabilities Supporting AR team with the timely processing of monthly collections of Standing orders, Direct Debits., allocation of credit card and Bank transfers, and investigation of unidentified payments, charge backs and bounced cheques. Timely issuing of Customer statements in-line with agreed timetable, and the provision of other documents as requested. Ensuring the daily and monthly end Hybris/Worldpay transactions reconciliations are performed, and all differences are investigated in liason with IT. Reconciliation of specific balance sheet treconciliation, as required. Assist other areas of the Finance Dept and other ad hoc duties Role Requirements High standard of accuracy. A pragmatic team player. Good communications skills, including ability to deal with difficult situations. Excellent investigatory skills with strong problem solving ability The ideal candidate should be well disciplined and organised with a 'cando' attitude. Experience / Achievements 2 Ability to work to deadlines years experience in Sales ledger position. Skills / Knowledge Knowledge of Accounting packages, such as CODA, SAP Intermediate level - Excel, Word.
