Overall Team Objective The overall objective is to maximise our cash collection in accordance with the business objectives and group Credit Control Policy. Duties & Responsibilities As a credit controller, you will develop close working relationships with all stakeholders enabling you to manage queries within SLA's, whilst adhering to business processes and compliance requirements. You will be required to: Manage a portfolio of accounts in order to collect all outstanding invoices via phone/email. Achievement of team targets in respect of cash collections. Action queried debt, investigate and resolve within agreed SLAs with all key stakeholders. Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. Reconciliation of Cash & Identification of all receipts. Manage document requests from and to clients including (but not exclusive to), Client Statements, Copy Invoices and Final demands and potential legal accounts through to solicitors and recovery. Monitor and maintain up to date client records on the credit control system. Raise credits where necessary. You will ideally have experience in: Working in a fast paced office environment Managing a busy workload to meet necessary deadlines Working in a finance department or high volume pay and bill function Competent use of IT, including Microsoft Word & Excel (preferably intermediate), Outlook and internet Good numeracy skills Excellent attention to detail Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain relationships over the telephone and in person Forward thinking approach Active listener Clear and confident verbal communicator Reliable and demonstrates a conscientious approach to work Able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively.
