An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and highly motivated Income and Accounts Receivable Executive to join the Finance team at one of London's Political parties' headquarters. This role is ideally suited to someone with some experience in finance or accounts looking to step up. As an Income and Accounts Receivable Executive the main objective of this role is to ensure management of the Party's finances including accounts receivable. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and onwards to the CFO.

Salary:
Up to £30,000 Responsibilities will include:
• Processing the day to day funds
• Preparation of the weekly cash receipt report
• Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and timely including posting of cash receipts to the appropriate account
• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders
• Reviewing of receivables to ledger reconciliation report and resolve cause of variance
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Maintaining a timely month-end/year-end closure procedure The ideal candidate will have an excellent mix of the following skills and capabilities:
• Detail orientated, great numeracy skills and experience using Excel
• Previous experience in accounts and/or finance team
• Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written
• A strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
• Comfortable in dealing with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
• A good team player who thrives in a multi-tasking deadline driven environment
• Proactive with plenty of initiative
• A commitment to self-development and developments in best practice
