Finance Data Analyst Cambridge £25,000 - £35,000 I am working with an established pharmaceutical company on Cambridge Science Park who are looking to add a Finance Data Analyst to their Financial Planning & Analysis team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. Ultimately you will report to the head of FP&A and work in a team of 6. You will take responsibility for extracting/sourcing data, assessing it for reliability, robustness, completeness and manipulating it into workable format for the Finance Business Analysts, including mapping data from various sources into one version of the truth. Responsibilities will include: Responsible for quality and integrity of data used by the Finance Business Analytics team, including data hygiene and consistency. Sourcing and extracting data from various systems, working with various stakeholders/data owners. Manipulation, mapping and formatting of data to enable ease of use. Assessing reliability, robustness and completeness of data; flagging issues and following up on ways to improve. Facilitating continuous improvement in our data and its sources and the way in which we use it. Assist in the design, implementation and continuous development of Project Foundation, the Enterprise data warehouse and BI Tool (Tableau) in respect of Technical Operations Data. Assist in the development and improvement of future systems, dashboards. Partner with the Business Finance Analysts to support them in delivering to our stakeholders. Creating and maintaining data documentation for the team including sources, descriptions and known uses/users.
