Accounts Assistant Apprentice LMG
Salary:
£17,000 Duration: 18 months Qualification: Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT3) LMG is a proven leader in the design, delivery and on-going support of the Internet of Things within buildings (BIoT), forming part of our Finance team we are looking to hire an Accounts Apprentice who will provide day to day administrative support to the department, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable. Confident, results-focused and meticulous, the right candidate will bring a strategic outlook, technical accounting ability and add value to the business. This position will lead to wide exposure and provide an exciting platform for an individual looking to begin their career in finance. A typical day Communicating with internal departments and external suppliers by email, phone and online chat Set up and maintain supplier details following appropriate internal processes and procedures. Processing employee cash and credit card expenses, checking claims against internal policies. Administration of company credit card applications. Processing subcontractor invoices, matching these with authorised timesheets including accurate job numbers. Maintaining the integrity of the SAGE finance system Location 6 Dolphin Point, RM19 1NR What makes a good candidate? You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills You are IT literate, and proficient in MS Office You are a team player with excellent inter-personal skills You have strong organisational skills with high attention to detail Entry requirements Five GCSE grades C - A (or 4-9), including Maths and English Level 3 qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent) B at GCSE Maths Benefits Bike to work scheme Social events Childcare vouchers Discounts WhiteHat community Pension Working hours 9am - 5:30pm Included in qualification Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT3) apprenticeship. What's next After your Accounting apprenticeship progress into a full-time role as Junior Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeping Assistant, Junior Tax Consultant or Audit Assistant. You can also complete the ACCA qualification into Chartered Accountancy
