We are currently paretnering with a top international law firm in their search for a Finance Analyst. This is a Fixed Term Contract position for 9 months, located in Central London. The successful candidate will manage the reporting and data analytics for one of their top clients. This role requires a recently qualified and ambitious individual. Key
responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of high-quality financial presentations to the business and providing analysis and recommendations as and when required. Working with the Finance and HR teams (both locally and remotely) to ensure integrity and accuracy of data used by the Department Compiling financial data to support complex business requests including, but not limited to, partner and fee earner appraisals, client and matter profitability, trend reporting. Turn financial data into timely and relevant insights and recommendations for management action. Supporting the Commercial Finance team in delivering key client and sector reviews, secondment pricing and general financial modelling support. Aiding the Financial Planning and Decision Support function with other routine deliverables and adhoc tasks as requiredRequirements: Essential Undergraduate degree - 2:1 or above with a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles. Recently qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA A minimum of 2 years' experience as a financial analyst in a commercial environment. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise work when facing competing deadlines Demonstrable experience of being able to analyse large data sets and deliver qualitative and quantitative information and findings in a concise and useful manner in order to support key stakeholders.Desirable Professional services sector experience. Blue chip experience would also be favourable. Evidence of teamwork and collaboration − the ability to work actively with others to achieve outcomes in both formal and informal teams in support of team and organisational goals. A continuous improvement mentality to support development of self, colleagues and business processes and interactions Excellent soft skills, emotionally resilient, and has strength of personality to ensure the perspective of 'Finance' is clearly communicated.
