The Financial Controller will report into the Finance Director and will be pivotal in driving the finance department and organisation forward during this exciting growth phase for the business. It's important that the Financial Controller has both a technical and strategic mind-set as this role will be responsible statutory accounting, improving policy and ensuring compliance requirements are in line with the business standards. The Financial Controller should possess excellent leadership capability as the successful applicant will be responsible for guiding and empowering a finance department going through change. Duties will include: Understand & review individual and consolidated accounts under IFRS for year-end statutory accounts. Review quarterly & annual VAT and Corporation tax filings Maintaining the company Policies and accounting manual. Overseeing the internal control framework and internal processes. Leading the annual audit to ensure compliance with accounting/tax regulations.
