Robert Walters is representing a leading financial services business based in Lancashire, who are seeking a Financial Accountant on a circa 6 month contract due to a restructing of the finance team. The role: To produce complete and accurate financial information in accordance with group. timetables and in compliance with both internal and external reporting requirements. To provide technical expertise and support the corporation tax compliance process, and all related tax planning and risk management. To manage the month end close process in accordance with group deadlines. Prepare monthly consolidated financial accounts under IFRS. Prepare quarterly consolidated financial accounts, and associated reports. Prepare annual statutory accounts for each of the entities, including consolidated accounts for external reporting requirements. To undertake as required, technical accounting research or related matters, as directed by external audits, or internal projects. To support the Reporting Manager. Commercial support when required. This role would suit a qualified accountant with strong technical capabilities who can produce accurate finance information under strict timeframes.
