Based in very conveniently located offices in South West London, they are now eager to hire an Assistant Accountant, in a sole role reporting into their CFO. What you need to be successful Experience working in an SME sized operation where you have had a hands-on role in both accounts and office management duties will really lend itself to this opportunity. Previous experience working in a sole role will mean you will be able to take ownership over the accounts function, dealing with Accounts payable and Accounts receivable duties, month end and year end accounts, quarterly VAT returns, assisting with management accounts, monthly balance sheet reconciliations - among other duties. This role is a business critical role and also involves office management and HR administration duties, including managing office supplies, preparation of board documents and administration of workplace pensions. If you have previously used the accountancy package Xero you will be able to add value straight away in this role.
