About the role: Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of regulatory return templates to the Bank's regulators; including CoRep and FinRep to the PRA, statistical reporting returns to Bank of England, and other Finance related returns to the PRA and FCA. Key Accountabilities: Prepare accurate and timely returns for submission to the regulator, and be able to demonstrate understanding and rationale for figures as part of review process. Scope of reporting requirements includes but is not limited to: CoRep and FinRep quarterly returns and Bank of England (BOE) monthly and quarterly statistical returns. Confidently handle all internal and external queries and challenges and manage their expectations appropriately, providing expert business advice. Support the Regulatory Reporting Lead, Financial Data Management and other teams across the business to implement regulatory reporting change. Ensuring technical interpretation is in-line with regulatory requirements, and has been appropriately documented to enable understanding by return stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Technical knowledge of Financial Regulatory Reporting including CoRep or FinRep or Bank of England returns, including legislation or guidance that implements these requirements. This includes but is not limited to CRR, EBA ITS and BOE Statistical Notices. Qualified Accountant preferred but not essential. Ability to manage own workload, ensuring regulatory return deadlines are met. Establish excellent inter-team relationships, working with stakeholders from across the Bank.
