Central London EslingKenny are currently recruiting for a hospitality company based in Central London who are seeking an Accounts Assistant. This person will mainly be responsible for the sales ledger side of the business and assist with AP when required. This role is due to the growth of the company and is an exciting time for them due to success they have had in the past 12 months. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Reconcile monthly bank reconciliations Accurate reconciliation of bank statements to assist early discovery of potential cash issues Performing daily cash reconciliations for each site to ensure all takings are banked accurately, reconciling takings to actual cash banked Identifying banking discrepancies and liaising with other departments as appropriate Completion of weekly and monthly tasks to within prescribed timeframes to allow timely production of management information Level of compliance with company finance procedures Supporting the AP team during busy periods Carry out any other duties as required by the London Accounts team Adhoc duties when required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Hospitality experience would be preferable but not essential Experience of cash reconciliations The individual will be happy to work in a smaller team and keen to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks A strong team player who is accurate and consistent The role requires a confident individual, with strong attention to detail Intermediate Excel is a minimum requirement SALARY & BENEFITS This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with an experienced Financial Controller and senior members of staff in a successful, well established and growing company.
