Assistant Accountant - Hook - Permanent - Up to £32,000 IN2 Consult have an exciting and rare opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to work with a unique client of ours based in Hook. The duties of this role entail: Processing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable invoices and payments Processing bank payments Handling queries Monthly P&L reporting Doing VAT returns Reconciling bank statements Reconciling petty cash control and takings Reconciling credit card statements Suppliers statement reconciliation Maintaining the Fixed Assets register Trial Balance, profit and loss accounts and balance sheet for annual accounts Dealing with Accruals and prepayments and journals Reconciliation of annual statutory accounts balance The successful candidate will: Have Sage experience Have strong UK VAT knowledge Assistant Accountant - Hook - Permanent - Up to £32,000
