£24-27k depending on experience Job status : Permanent

Location:
East London Summary: Accounting for transactions including accounts receivables and payable. Assists the preparation of management account, reports and various statutory returns filing. Support the team to manage the accounting and finance matter as required What You'll be Doing Each Day: Maintain the Accounts Payable ledger including reconciling all supplier statements, receipt purchase orders, process invoices and expenses and arrange payments Update and manage cash book and bank reconciliation Assist in cash flow forecast Process inter-companies transactions and arrange settlement Post prepayment and accrual Reconcile and monitor balance sheets accounts Prepare quarterly VAT returns Assist in preparing monthly management accounts include reporting package to Head Quarter Assist in preparing annual budget Assist in statutory accounts preparation, audit and tax return Other ad-hoc works The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: Education & Experience: On the path of studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT qualification All round accounts experience Preferably previous experience in Distribution/Wholesale industry Requirements & Skills: Fluency in English and Mandarin / Cantonese Team player and proactive A good understanding of general accounting functions, i.e., accounts payable, inter-company accounts and month end process, etc. Knowledge and understanding of VAT & associated documentation Ability to effectively communicate with both finance and operational teams Motivated and positive attitude, enthusiasm Highly attentive to detail/accurate Well organized and be able to comply with tight deadlines Ability to sufficiently use key software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Prior experience in SAP is an advantage Please follow us on Linkedin: people-first-team-china We would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document.
