Job Description: Job Role - Project Manager - Capital Markets Location - City of London Salary - Competitive & DOE Plus Annual Company Bonus Role Purpose: My client in question are looking for experienced Junior and Senior Calypso Business Analysts to join our Capital Markets Consulting Business across Europe & North America. Calypso is a large-scale software product for the capital markets supporting trading, risk management, and processing of various financial products. It provides front to back Java based platform. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to work as part of a global practice (EMEA, North America, APAC) on projects including Greenfield Calypso Implementations and Calypso Upgrades. They currently require candidates to work on both Front Office and Back Office roles and as such successful consultants will have the following skills, experience and qualifications: Experience working with Calypso Experience working as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets Demonstrable experience of working across the full project lifecycle Demonstrable experience of Documentation of Analysis outputs Strong ability to capture detailed requirements and maintain traceability throughout all phases of a project. Experience in translating business requirements into the functional requirements.
• Functional cross asset experience (FX/Derivatives (Pricing, Valuation), Liquidity/Cash/Fund Management, Cash flows, Settlements (SWIFT), Accounting (General ledger, PnL), MM, Fixed Income, Interest Rates, Credit Derivatives, Equities, Commodities, Market Data, Trade Capture, Pricing, Risk Junior Business Analyst 1-3 years of experience working with Calypso Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science or technology Senior Business Analyst 3 years of experience working with Calypso Experience of running workshops and engage with stakeholders at different levels of seniority Ability to liaise with testing team and manage the testing lifecycle including defect management Front, /Middle, Back Office BA's are required. We are also interested in hiring Calypso SME's for specifics of the system (collateral management, hedge accounting, accounting and clearing) Ability to deliver training both adhoc training of business users as well as white board training on site to Calypso clients Ability to train FD junior consultants Strong understanding of project methodologies (must be comfortable delivering tasks under both Waterfall and Agile methodologies) Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science or technology You will be employed directly with the consultancy on a permanent basis and then you will be asked to work on a variety of different project across leading Financial Services/ Capital Markets Tier 1 companies. Each project will vary in length and will present a new and testing environment so you will constantly be developing your skill set & experience. Initially when you join you will be asked to sit on the "Managed bench" in our clients main London Office from 2-6 weeks, whilst your skills and experience are lined up to a current role/Project or one that is due to start. Salaries are dependent on skill set and experience but are market leading.
