Orion Group are looking for a Finance Analyst for our multinational pharmaceutical client based in the Berkshire area on an initial 12-month contract with the potential to extend. Job Purpose To provide finance support and business partnering for the client. Main Responsibilities of the role Provide finance support and business partnering for the business Key responsibilities include sales calculation and reporting support (including true up for customers), inventory monitoring, balance sheet reconciliations, capital expenditure analysis and customer KPI's Support for system enhancementsnew customer on-boarding Involvement in/driving standardisation, process improvement & sharing best practice Promote & support financial awareness and education for business partners Ad hoc tasks & analysis as required Organisation Chart -Showing job titles and reporting lines of the job holder-job holder's immediate manager, peers and subordinates Desired Experience and Background of the successful candidate Qualified with professional Accountancy body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) with min 4 years post qualified experience 5 years' relevant experience working with a finance department A strong understanding of cash flows and project analysis tools Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with an ability to influence people at all levels Attention to detail Highly motivated and proactive Experience of SAP/Ariba/Atticus Advanced spreadsheet skills Ability to contribute and work effectively as part of a team, taking the lead where necessary Methodical approach with a commitment to accuracy & timeliness of analysis Strong continuous improvement mind set Assignment and Planning of Work There will be extra demands around the month end and quarterly close and reporting deadlines An ability to adjust to changing timetables and short lead times is frequently required Considerable planning, management and involvement is required for each year end close Sarbanes-Oxley requirements/audit timings will dictate work patterns As an integral member of UK finance team there is a requirement to be involved in projects and the implementation of new initiatives Maintain relationships with: -Business Leaders/Project Members/Stakeholders -Treasury -Tax COE -GFS (Prague) -Finance Community at all levels across all regions -Project Members / Stakeholders Able and willing to work in a complex organization with highly detailed rules and regulationsOur role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
