After heavily investing in new property and machinery, the business is looking to bolster its finance team by appointing a Commercial Accountant to report directly into the CFO. My client has presence in the UK and internationally, and a portfolio of well-known customers in more than 60 countries. The Commercial Accountant will provide financial and strategic support to senior management, including the Managing Director and Sales teams. This will include the analysis and modelling of key business and market trends, preparing financial presentations, acquisition analysis, and other projects. As a customer focused, technology driven organisation, you will support key projects that will shape the businesses future. The main duties of the Commercial Accountant will include: - Acting as a Business Partner, analysing financial management and using commercial experience to provide decision support and guidance to managers across the company. - Developing and maintaining business-wide KPIs and a suite of reports, explaining key trends to business managers to understand and leverage the analysis. - Support strategic initiatives and profitability reporting by developing financial models and analyses. - Preparing quarterly forecasting schedules, working closely with the Commercial teams to understand and project the impact of key market trends. The ideal candidate will be an ACA qualified Accountant who is keen to take their first step into industry after gaining post qualified experience.
