An excellent opportunity has opened up with a friendly company in Waterlooville, who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant / Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for for coding, processing and reconciling supplier invoices, as well as distributing supplier invoices for authorisation. You will process employee expenses and credit cards, produce and issue customer invoices and raise quotes, placing orders as needed. You will undertake bank reconciliation and cash flow, as well as VAT returns, assisting with monthly payroll and prepare weekly payment run. You will also assist by drafting financial reports, planning and budgets. You will have experience working within a similar position, and have a good working knowledge of accounts processes. The company uses Sage 50, so previous experience of this would be ideal, though not essential. An AAT qualification or bookkeeping qualification would be beneficial, but the company can accept those who have good experience without formal qualifications. This role is offered on a part-time basis, circa 3 days a week, however, the company are really flexible and will consider candidates looking for slightly less or more hours, and can also consider the hours being spread over 5 shorter days, to fit the right person.
