Sewell Wallis have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant in the Bradford area. This is a great chance to join a large, nationally recognised organisation who are looking to progress and develop their staff. The successful candidate will assist with the transactional and management accounts process. The role suits ambitious individuals as there are genuine opportunities to progress into senior positions quickly. As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the following: Weekly/monthly/quarterly sales analysis Commercial analysis Management accounts Operational analysis Product profitability and costing Assisting with the transactional process. Accurate and timely support to the Management Accountants. Working as a team to achieve results. Liaise and deal with all depot accounting queries/problems. Accruals and prepayments. Other ad hoc duties as and when required. The ideal candidate will have: Graduated from Russell Group University. At least 6 months accounts experience. Excellent communication skills.
