We are now looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team based at our head office in Vantage House, Brentford. Our offices are accessible from Gunnersbury tube station on the District Line and Overground or via a short walk from Kew Bridge mainline station. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Supervisor the Accounts Receivable Assistant will be responsible for processing a wide range of sales invoices and chasing any late payments from customers and suppliers. Accounts Receivable Assistant - Responsibilities - Processing sales invoices and credit notes on timely manner - Chase late payments from customers and distributors (via phone and email) to ensure all customer invoices are settled in accurately and on time - Analyse and review monies collected and timely processing of items in bank accounts - Reconcile customer invoices and credit notes with payments and chasing customers for the remittance advices in order to allocate cash received from the customers - Liaising with the department in regards to invoice queries - Handle and resolve queries with customers - Liaising with the Debt collecting agency to recover the old debt - Post and allocate money - Prepare Aged debtors report and weekly review with the manger Accounts Receivable Assistant - Key Skills/Experience - A minimum of a years experience within an accounts receivable led role - Fast and accurate data entry skills - Strong communication skills, confident in communicating with all levels of the business. - Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy - Ability to prioritise and act quickly to meet deadlines - Collaborative approach able to work with finance team, other internal colleagues and external suppliers building quality relationships to help deliver results. - Approaches everything with integrity, honesty and trust - Analytical experience and questioning - Organised and proactive with ability to move things forward without being asked - Responsive to change and new ideas with a can do attitude As our Accounts Receivable Assistant you will ensure a customer focussed approach to everything finance.
