Robert Half Financial Services are working exclusively with a FTSE listed financial services business based in the City of London in their search for a qualified Group Accountant. The purpose of this role is to support the Group Reporting team in providing internal and external stakeholders with information on the financial performance and position of the Group. The role The role will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to gain exposure across the business and to build an understanding of data, processes and outputs across the finance function and build skills in the areas of: Statutory reporting Internal management reporting Application of IFRS accounting standards Business Partnering and communication Your profile To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria: A newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) A university graduate, ideally in a degree that demonstrates numeracy/finance A minimum of 3 years' experience within a Group function Good communicator, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and take initiative Confidence to tackle issues outside of comfort zone Good attention to detail Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Package Base salary of £45-55,000 (DOE) 12% pension contribution Gym membership Private dental and healthcare Discretionary bonus Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
