Ben Johnson Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing SME on the outskirts of York. This is an owner managed business with an international footprint and rapidly becoming a leading provider of specialist products to over 20 countries. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take a very active role in providing accurate and timely reporting including: Preparing management accounts for 2 entities , including P&L Generating and managing cost centres and divisional accounts. Analysing variance against budgets, evaluate costs and proposing new ways of reducing overheads Accruals and prepayments while maintaining a full and accurate audit trail Bank reconciliations Fixed assets register maintenance Foreign exchange reconciliations We're looking for an accountant who will enjoy developing process and systems that enable the business to run smoothly, producing meaningful KPI analysis. You will be confident in explaining finance information to non finance managers and have strong excel/IT literacy. This role would suit a part (CIMA,ACCA, ACA) or fully qualified accountant looking to join a friendly SME and work with an owner who wants to take their business to the next level.
