Our client, a market leading business based in the Uxbridge area are looking to source a purchase ledger clerk to join their team. This role will report directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager and previous experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment will be essential. Key Responsibilities -All areas of Purchase Ledger function - processing of supplier invoices, reconciling of supplier statements and preparing weekly payment runs -Resolving supplier queries -Opening new accounts -Allocating payments -Processing monthly employee expenses -Contributing to process improvement initiatives -Assisting with ad hoc requests from senior management team The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hard-working individual with experience in a purchase ledger department. Excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be important in the role. Previous experience in the construction / property sector would be preferred.
