Job Description: Duties for the Accounts Assistant role will include: Assistance with processing invoices onto ecommerce retailer platform Posting credit notes Assistance with obtaining details of customer deductions from remittances and resolving queries thereon Preparation of monthly royalty reports Bank reconciliations and invoice discounting reconciliations on a monthly basis Calculation of month end rebates for customers and assisting in accounts preparation Posting cash receipts Assistance with/preparation of weekly summary invoices for payment Assistance with monthly stock reporting for departmental analysis purposes Assistance with general queries on sales and purchase ledger on an ad hoc basis Candidate requirements for the Accounts Assistant: Previous experience in a similar accounts / finance role Good knowledge of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control Good Microsoft Excel skills Good team player but can also work on own initiative Strong administrative skills with high levels of accuracy Good attention to detail Confident and able to liaise with individuals over the telephone Resilient, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week
