Interim Assistant Management Accountant | Nr. Canterbury | £25 - £30k A dynamic and rapidly expanding services business Near Canterbury is now looking to recruit an Interim Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing team. Initially the role will be offered as a 9-month fixed term contract, but there is the potential for the role to become a permanent position for the right candidate to support company growth. Working closely with the Management Accountant and Business Analyst, the Assistant Accountant will support the month end and management accounting processes, taking responsibility for some of the following key areas:
• Preparing accounts to trial balance
• Supporting the month end process, purchase and sales ledger close and preparation of supporting documentation
• Variance analysis and commentary
• Accruals and pre-payments
• Reconciliations
• Analysis of data, providing commentary on key trends
• Monthly and ad-hoc reporting
• Improving processes Candidates will be available to start a role within the next month and commit to a minimum of 9months. The Interim Assistant Management Accountant will possess recent experience working with large sets of data, supporting the management accounting process and also enjoy analysis.
