A well-established leisure business (over 40 years) with a strong reputation for high staff retention levels now seeks to appoint an Assistant Accountant. This is a newly created opportunity due to business growth. You would be a key person within the finance function and as part of a small team, you would enjoy a good variety of duties. and the size of the team means that you will gain a full rounded experience across an accounting function. Working closely with the Financial Controller you will be given the opportunity to, Prepare a full set of monthly management accounts Ownership of the month end process as a senior member of the finance team Be liaison point with non-finance stakeholders, assisting with accuracy of stock reporting and ad hoc analysis The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified with experience of in particular Excel.
