An established Accountancy Practice based in the heart of Derby, are seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant to join their established accounting team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Accountant or Accounts Senior to make a real impact and help your clients grow in their own unique way. Qualified Accountant Position Overview As a Senior Accountant will be responsible for statutory and management accounts preparation and production, knowledge of Quickbooks, taxfiler, tax calc, Xero, Sage software is highly desirable but not essential. Ability to complete a full set of accounts to completion. Discussing and resolving accounts queries with clients and enabling them to spot opportunties for growth and development The Senior Accountant will also sign off junior Accountants work, complete bank reconciliations and VAT returns Act as a mentor for Junior Accountants and ensuring their development needs are met. Qualified Accountant Position Requirements ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant with hands on experience within an accountancy practice Experienced with Quickbooks, taxfiler, tax calc, xero and Sage would be highly desirable Passionate about providing a top quality, tailored service to clients and colleagues alike You must be a confident communicator both written, verbally and within the team Be able to identify new business opportunities Knowledge of UK GAAP Experience with Owner managed businesses is essential Customer focused and committed to building the reputation of the firm Experience of preparing budgets and monitoring actual time against budget This Accounts opportunity is suitable for an experience Semi-Senior, newly qualified Accountant or experienced Accounts Senior looking for that next step. Qualified Accountant Position Remuneration Flexible salary dependant on skills and experience - Between £30-45,000 per annum. Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
