Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Birmingham based client in their search for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the business on a part time permanent basis. You will be working as part of a dynamic finance team and will be responsible for taking ownership of the credit control function whilst supporting the team with wider transactions focused finance duties . My client is looking for a proactive candidate with the ability to take ownership of their own workload on a part time basis consisting of 25 hours a week. Daily duties and experience required includes:
• Minimum of two years experience of working as an Accounts Assistant or similar level position
• Strong credit control experience via phone and email
• Raising invoices
• Allocating payments
• Purchase ledger experience
• Statement reconciliations
• Processing payments
• Preparing journals
• Query resolution
• Excellent customer service skills My client is a well established business with a stable finance team and is a market leader in their field.
