Due to the successful growth of the company, they have now brought their accounts function in-house and are in need of an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to take on the role of Accounts Assistant and take ownership of the day to day bookkeeping and administrative duties What you need to be successful Experience in an SME sized company and experience working in a sole accounts role would be extremely beneficial as you will be used to a hands on approach and jumping in to help wherever needed. A desire for a role with plenty variety and the ability to be flexible will allow you to manage HR administration and adhoc office management tasks as part of your role. Excel experience is essential - familiarity with pivot tables and v look ups and spreadsheet navigation etc If you are AAT Qualified or have a number of years of experience in a similar Accountancy role you will be able to take ownership over the accounts function, dealing with duties such as: AP/AR invoicing, credit control, bank reconciliations, payment runs, VAT returns, expenses, office administration, HR administration. If you are outgoing and really love to get to know everyone in the business, you will really enjoy becoming a vital member of the team.
