A global market leading business in the aviation industry based in Feltham (near Heathrow) are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance department. This role offers the opportunity to develop your accounting skills and progress your studies further within ACCA or CIMA (full study support provided). Responsibilities include: To produce monthly management accounts and all related schedules for 9 sites The calculation and processing of payroll journal entries Responsible for accruals and prepayments To complete all month end processing work to enable the preparation of month end reports for the business Assisting in the production of budgets and forecasts To perform all Balance sheet reconciliations Posting of month end journals Variance analysis Bank interest calculations Production of KPI reporting Prepare ad hoc reports as and when requestedPerson requirements: Minimum Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Experience of month end accounting Experience of accruals, prepayments, journals and reconciliations Strong Excel and IT skills Flexible and willing to work as part of a team or on their own initiative Good level of verbal and written communication skills Able to work effectively across levels and functionsBy applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
