Commercial Assistant Minimum 6 month contract Salary approx. £22k Start date w/c 02-08-19 Reporting to Commercial Executive/General Manager The temporary position of Commercial Assistant is required to provide maternity cover for the Commercial Executive to ensure weekly and monthly reporting and continuous monitoring of key areas of the business are covered during leave, may be option for full time role. Key areas will be to smooth communication between various departments to maximise revenue position through efficient invoicing and control of the debt position and stock. The Commercial Assistant will be able to assist the General Manager and Helpdesk Team Leader in any adhoc duties required. Main Duties will include: Weekly reporting of outstanding calls & sales enquiries, debtors & revenue position Reconciliation of invoices between systems Analysis of revenue position and outstanding calls to ensure invoices are produced in a timely manner and all revenue is captured Assist the credit control team with invoice queries and chasing of difficult debt Management of monthly stock takes with careful analysis ensuring all stock items have been charged correctly Any adhoc duties as required The candidate must have: Experience within a similar commercial/finance role Strong excel skills including pivots and v lookups Experience with sales invoicing Good communication skills Ability to be a proactive team player who can work autonomously Meticulous attention to detail to spot and rectify errors
