About the role As a result of continuous business transformation an exciting position of a Finance Assistant has become available within our Finance team based in Erdington. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and want a challenging and rewarding career, then this role may be perfect for you We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our Finance Department. Duties will include:- Work with colleagues in other departments to ensure effective management of aged purchase orders, the timely approval of receipted orders and right first time coding Preparation of supplier BACS payment runs and ad hoc BACS / CHAPS / cheque payments as required To ensure supplier statement reconciliations are kept up to date About You Excellent communication and influencing skills Good knowledge of Excel and other MS packages and a sound knowledge of other ICT solutions for data extraction and analysis Commercial understanding Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective liaison with internal and external clients. Build internal and external relationships Organise own time and prioritise workloads Draft letters and responses to queries Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Applying All applications must be accompanied with a current CV which will be used to assess your suitability for the role.
