Finance Analyst

Full-time, permanent, Finance Analyst, £36,000-£41,000, Bristol

A globally recognised, well-established telecoms organisation is seeking a permanent, full-time Finance Analyst to join their Property Finance team.

Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be joining the Property Finance team who take charge of strategy setting and facilities management services across the Group. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the monthly financial accounts process, including balance sheet, working capital and P&L. You will also provide assistance with asset reviews and tax returns. You will be taking a primary role in the preparation of the balance sheet, working capital reporting, forecasting and variance analysis. You will prepare the statutory accounts for subsidiaries and undertake year end statutory reporting. You will produce key financial reports and provide assistance with forecasting and business planning. This will include budgets, outlooks and input into risk and opportunity reviews for key cost lines. You will provide day to day support, deal with queries and process ad hoc invoices from suppliers, as well as completing ad hoc projects. Your commitments will also include liaison with auditors, the Group, tax and suppliers. You will ensure compliancy by maintaining financial processes for the division and providing solutions to weaknesses in the control process. You will also consistently improve these processes to render them more efficient.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA), enjoy variety, have the desire to enhance your accounting knowledge and wish to be involved in the development of the company. You will have management accounting and financial experience, experience of month end, great analytical capabilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will also be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint and preferably have experience of Oracle. Strong interpersonal skills are required to communicate with stakeholders internationally as well as within the UK, as well as an excellent prioritisation of tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere
