Project Accountant

An interim Project Accountant role for a market leading construction business in Manchester for 6 months.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the financial administration and financial reporting of multiple construction projects, working to tight deadlines, while managing a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships. This will involve delivering monthly management accounts, with variance commentary and balance sheet reconciliations.You will also provide commercial analysis and support the operational teams with contractual matters and day to day financial control. You will also play a key role in the delivery of year end financial accounts and tax analysis.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with strong management and financial accounting experience and a wider commercial awareness. You will have excellent communication skills and the gravitas to influence senior operational staff. You will also be highly organised and have strong analytical skills.
