Position: Finance Manager
Rate: £350 inside of IR35
Duration: 3 months+

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller to undertake numerous aspects of financial management including financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as overall financial risk management.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, accounted for and reported
  • Managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly writing internal reports to identify trends & forecasts
  • Examining financial reports to ensure that there are no discrepancies
  • Developing financial plans & forecasts for the individual workstreams based on data reports and discussions with key stakeholders
  • Interacting with key EU Exit stakeholders to provide frequent financial summary reports for the wider EU Exit capability
  • Being the first point of contact with individual workstream leads
  • Preparing journals, PO's, receipting of invoices etc


Successful candidate will be a team member with strong written, verbal and organisation skills. They will maintain a strong delivery focus to ensure financial stability and coherence within the CoSP capability. The individual will have excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

  • Professional accounting exams (for example, ACCA)
  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager
  • + 3 years of accounting and financial experience
  • Experience creating financial statements
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel in particular)
