Head of Reporting & Consolidation

Your new company
I am working with a high growth and very acquisitive insurance business looking to hire an experienced accountant to join the London finance function. This is a business that has grown rapidly in the last few years, offers excellent work life balance and has a structure that allows good senior stakeholder exposure.

Your new role
Reporting to the group financial controller this role has a broad array of duties and responsibilities including:

• Consolidation for over 100 entities
• Input to monthly finance pack to the board
• Co-ordination and management of the year end audit process
• Oversight and sign off on acquisition accounts
• Annual financial reporting process

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background. You will need to have proven consolidations experience, capable of dealing with complex consolidations for lots of entities. You will have to be a confident communicator capable of presenting to senior stakeholders and building strong working relationships within the business.
