If so, then please read on Robertson Bell Finance are working with a brand name charity doing excellent work with young people across the UK to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a period of 3-4 months, with the potential for extension after the initial contract. Based in Central London, the role joins a high performing, friendly team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the main responsibilities of the Interim Management Accountant are as follows: Provide financial support to a specific directorate, including budgeting, forecasting and accurate management accounts are produced. Assist the Senior FBP with financial planning and preparation of journals and prepayments. Ensure all income and expenditure is correctly accounted for, assisting stakeholders with their understanding of the numbers. Work on the annual budgeting process to ensure tight financial control whilst allowing the organisation to develop. The successful candidate will be an experienced management accountant who has worked in comparable roles in similarly complex organisations. My client is open to the sector background you have worked in before and it is not necessary to have worked in a charity previously. You will likely be a fully qualified accountant although my client will consider those who are nearing qualification, either way you must have the ability to hit the ground running quickly. You must be available immediately or have a short notice period to be considered.
